Robyn Jarvis
I am a 23 year old actress who has recently moved to London from the South-West to pursue my acting career. Starting this adventure, I wished that there was someone who was from the same kind of background as myself, who had shared some insight and tips of what is to come. Therefore, I thought I would take you on this journey with me and try to have a laugh along the way!
I am aware that there are thousands of girls, just like me who are doing/are thinking of doing the same thing, and it is tough!! But hopefully, by having a giggle and knowing you aren't the only one going through this, we can make this journey a positive one!
About Me...
My Background
I am born and raised in Swindon, a little town about an hour or so outside of London. It is a nice town with a bit of a rough reputation, but I like it! Its never done me very wrong!

I have always loved performing, I studied it all through school, going to various singing schools and taking my music exams etc. etc. From there I went onto Cirencester College where I studied Performing Arts (as well as a Maths and English Literature A levels- mum wanted me to keep the options open ). I made some lifelong friends and even met my now fiancé, Charlie. We have been together 5 years and he proposed November 2017, one of the best days of my life. I studied hard and left college with a D*D*D* in Performing Arts.

From there I went to 'The University of Gloucestershire' and studied a performing arts degree. It was such a great course and I made some amazing friends and memories here, which I am sure will be mentioned across my blogs. I graduated University with a first class BA (hons) degree and it is still one of my greatest achievements today!

After University, myself and Charlie took a gap year and travelled all around South-East Asia. It was such an amazing experience and one of the best decisions I have ever made. It really was an adventure of a lifetime!!

Coming home, I knew that I wanted to carry on pursuing my performing career, so Charlie and I packed up and moved out to London. I am now trying to be a professional actress, full time. I have signed with 'Hamlet Management' and am applying for any job that comes my way.

There will be many actors in the same position as myself and hopefully, I will be able to offer some insight or tips by sharing my experiences of how this journey goes- wish me luck!!! x
